Dermacare Emulsifying Ointment is a versatile, paraffin-rich emollient designed to treat and deeply moisturize very dry or scaly skin conditions, including eczema and dermatitis. Its high lipid content forms a protective barrier that locks in moisture, making it ideal for sensitive skin prone to irritation.

• Active ingredient: Hydrocortisone 1% w/w.
• Other ingredients: Purified water, white soft paraffin, cetomacrogol emulsifying wax, liquid paraffin, macrogol 300, and chlorocresol.

💧 Dual Use: Moisturizer & Soap Substitute

As a Leave-On Moisturizer:

• Apply generously and frequently to affected areas
• Best used after bathing while skin is damp
• Smooth in the direction of hair growth for optimal absorption
• Richer and greasier than creams, but offers longer-lasting protection

As a Soap Substitute:

• Replace regular soap to avoid drying effects
• For baths: Mix a tablespoon with hot water until creamy, then cool and use
• For showers or handwashing: Lather a small amount with water, wash, and rinse
• Pat skin dry with a soft towel after use

• SLS Warning: If the product contains sodium lauryl sulphate, do not use as a leave-on moisturizer. Always check the label.
